This listing is for me to work with Baron Samedi on your behalf for 7 days, on my altar dedicated specifically to him. This working includes, prayers, offerings, cooking for him, the setting of lights, and burning incense on your behalf. I will devote my time daily to attending to his altar and providing fresh food and drink offerings on your behalf and submitting your petition to him. This working will begin on the next available Saturday after your purchase, depending on my work schedule.
Baron Samedi is Loa of the Dead. We cannot connect with those who have gone before us without him. He doesn’t just end life either. He can end a situation, an argument, a relationship, etc. Baron is also there at the end of a job well done. When you've done all you know to do, call on Baron Samedi. He offers help.
Many fear to work with him, but to fear him is to reject his help. Even the most powerful magicians & alchemists cannot accomplish spells or magick without the consent or approval of the Baron. As an ally, he is the strongest of protectors & a trustworthy companion.
'Samedi' means 'Saturday' in French. His wife is Loa Maman Brigitte, although she has been known to flatly deny it. She is the Queen of the Cemetary. Baron Samedi is superb at legal issues, court, justice, victory, sexuality, life transitions & bringing cash quickly! He brings enormous power to magic rituals. He is a fierce protector of children!
Baron Samedi is known to be very wise & honest in response to those asking for his assistance.
He is the Loa of sex and resurrection. Sex is as close as the living can get without crossing over. He loves a good party, but he also enjoys solitude. Baron Samedi can usually be found at the crossroad between the worlds of the living and the dead. When someone dies he digs their grave and greets their soul after they have been buried, leading them to the underworld. He helps the newly dead cross over and find peace. In this aspect, we should not fear him but appreciate him for the care and concern he will show us all in the end. If someone is so bad off that are lingering on the border, the Baron will make the ultimate decision whether they live or die.
He is often called upon for healing by those near or approaching death, as it is only Baron who can accept an individual into the realm of the dead.
He has a wonderful sense of humor and loves a good dirty joke, debauchery, rum, and cigars; but yet is reverent towards the dead, especially as they cross over to the other side. When he shows up, you know something's about to happen.
Don’t ask him a question if you don’t want to know the answer, because he's going to be honest and tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear.
One of the most important ideas that Baron teaches us is that life is too short to be unhappy. He wants to find our true happiness. He also tells us that the dead are to be honored and respected, especially our ancestors.
He appears as a man with top hat and tails with a skeleton face. The color of his suit is important. If it is white, then he is being elegant, if it is black, he is being reverent and if it is red then he is horny. He loves children and they will become very curious when he is around.
You can find the Baron in cemeteries, deep caves, hospices, hospitals, nursing homes, adult bookstores and strip bars.
Traditionally, his color is thought of as purple. But he also likes earthy red and burnt orange. His numbers are 13 and 9. His symbols are gravestones, crosses, and phallic symbols. Offerings: Big fat cigar, Very rare red meat that is burnt on outside, raw on inside, peppered bacon, black licorice, toasted coconut flakes & pecans, strong, black coffee (no sugar), avocados.
